Travel guide of Retezat National ParkI think carrying a hammock everywhere we go is my top favorite thing. The feeling of just sitting there among trees and nature, pretending you are one of them. This, for me, is just surreal.

Our complete route was from Cnicea back to Teregova on secondary roads. There were 72 km (ca. 45 miles) with a ground level difference of just 1900 m. On our way we saw this.

We came to Romania specifically to drive two roads that are famous for their scenery: the Transalpina and the Transfagarasan. This photo was taken on the Transalpina, which we drove twice. Both of the times it was so foggy that we almost did not see anything. This was one of the few shots we managed to take where the great landscape is visible. Many people thought it was taken with a drone but actually it’s taken from a high cliff. One of us was driving, the other one was climbing.

Hiking in a forest nearby my hometown, decided to get down and dirty and get a close up of the little things on the forest floor. This is part of the Little Things series.

On my way to the mountain Vulcan, I saw from far away, this lonely little forgotten house touched only by the sun. The peaceful view hold me in that place for a few moments. Than I took my camera…

We were on our way home, but then we decided to turn the car around and drive in search for places to photograph. Everything kind of looked the same, the further we drove, the less snow. But then, we found this. And, boy, did we love it! Haven’t walked on an iced river ever since I was a child, so you can imagine the joy.
